HostClaim is a product of Appstack, LLC, registered in North Carolina, USA. We help Airbnb and VRBO hosts document and submit damage claims. Contact us at claims@hostclaim.com.
We collect your name and email address when you create an account. We collect claim data you enter — guest names, reservation codes, damage descriptions, photos, and cost estimates. We collect payment method information through Stripe (we never see or store your card number). We collect basic usage data through our hosting provider.
We use your data solely to provide the HostClaim service — to store your claims, generate your PDF reports, send deadline reminder emails and SMS notifications, and process your subscription payment. We do not sell your data. We do not display advertising. We do not use your data to train AI models.
Your data is stored in Supabase (US-based). Photos and videos are stored in Supabase Storage. All storage is located in the United States.
We use the following third-party services to operate HostClaim: Supabase (database and file storage, USA), Stripe (payment processing, USA), Resend (transactional email, USA), Vercel (hosting, USA), and Twilio (SMS notifications, USA). Each provider has their own privacy policy and is contractually required to protect your data. We do not sell your data to any third party.
Photos and documents you upload are stored securely in Supabase Storage and are only accessible to you. They are used to generate your PDF claim report and are never shared with third parties. Photos are retained according to our Evidence Policy.
When you upload photos, GPS coordinates may be captured and stored with your evidence records. This data is used solely for claim documentation and is never shared with third parties.
You may request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your account at any time by emailing claims@hostclaim.com. We will respond within 30 days.
If you are located in the European Union, you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your data. To exercise these rights, email claims@hostclaim.com.
Photos and claim records are kept according to our Evidence Policy, based on the claim or booking they belong to — not your account status. If you permanently delete your account, your profile and settings are removed 30 days later. Photos follow their own retention clock. See our Evidence Policy for details.
We use only essential session cookies required to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
HostClaim is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
If we materially change this policy, we will notify you by email. Continued use of HostClaim after changes constitutes acceptance.
